I’m Ashley, a creative director, beauty executive, and someone who’s spent more than two decades shaping the way people see themselves.
My career began in the global beauty industry, grew through leadership roles, and eventually rooted itself in Vancouver, where I work alongside my husband, my long-time collaborator, and our eight-year-old daughter. Together, we’re building a legacy in the creative space: he captures the image, I shape the vision, and our studio brings it to life.
I’ve always been drawn to the unconventional. I grew up curious about identity, creativity, and the psychology behind why we express ourselves the way we do. That curiosity expanded into understanding systems like Human Design, astrology, and tarot, not as mysticism, but as frameworks for creative intelligence. Tools for pattern-recognition. Lenses for leadership, direction, and self-expression.
A series of personal losses forced a pause, a moment where I needed more than momentum. I needed meaning. That search redirected my creative work and refined how I support others: by helping them understand their own inner architecture, their patterns, their pace, and the identity they’ve been trying to articulate.
Today, my work sits at the intersection of beauty, creativity, and personal design. I help individuals and brands understand their creative DNA, the rhythm they work best in, the story they’re built to tell, and the aesthetic that feels like home.
Whether I’m directing a campaign, designing a concept in our agency, or teaching creative frameworks through Your Magnetic Purpose, my goal remains the same:
elevate the way people express themselves, and give them the tools to create from a place of truth, not trend.
This is the work I’m devoted to now, building a legacy of creativity, intelligence, and self-expression that lasts.
MY APPROACH
My work is rooted in Creative Identity Mapping, the core of the YMP Method and the creative backbone of everything within the YMP ecosystem. It’s a process that looks at how a person naturally thinks, creates, decides, and expresses themselves, then translates those patterns into direction, artistry, and leadership.
I use Human Design, astrology, and tarot as creative frameworks to understand the internal architecture behind someone’s creative system. These tools help reveal the rhythm a person works best in, the way their ideas move, the emotional currents that shape their momentum, and the aesthetic language that feels most authentic to them.
When those pieces come together, the creative vision becomes easier to articulate. Identity becomes clearer. Expression becomes steadier. The work starts to feel like it’s moving with the person, not against them.
Creative Identity Mapping is the thread that ties everything I do together. It gives structure to creativity, meaning to expression, and direction to the people I work with. It guides the way I create, the way I lead, and the way YMP continues to grow.
The YMP Method is simply the formal expression of that philosophy. It’s the language I’ve built around understanding people through the lens of creative intelligence — and helping them build a life, a brand, or a body of work that reflects who they truly are.
